WHO WE ARE

Orphan’s Hope Kids to Canada is the first Canadian charity dedicated to subsidizing Canadians wanting to adopt orphans from outside of North America. We receive no government funding and rely on corporate and individual donations.

BACKGROUND

Orphan’s Hope Kids to Canada was co-founded in 2002. Disturbed by the incomprehensible number of needy orphans around the world, coupled with the often substantial costs of international adoption, the founders set out to make a difference one child at a time. The charity is dedicated to raising awareness and funding for these children and their potential parents. We receive no government funding and rely on corporate and individual donations. About 93% of your donation goes directly to adopting families. Your compassion and generosity is so important to these very needy children!

HOW ORPHAN'S HOPE HELPS

Orphan’s Hope Kids to Canada gives financial grants of up to $10,000 to qualified families wanting to adopt children from outside of North America. This in no way covers the cost of the entire adoption as international adoptions can range on average from $20,000-50,000 per child. As of 2010, Orphan’s Hope Kids to Canada has offered sponsorships to over 100 families adopting children from 19 different countries.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE GRANTS?

Applicants must be Canadian citizens and meet the income cut-off guidelines as noted in our application package which can be found by at http://orphanshope.ca/application.php.

HOW YOU CAN HELP AS A SPONSOR

Each donation of $10,000 helps one family adopt a needy child. Different levels of sponsorship are listed above. Tax receipts are available upon request.
